Would you like to find a well-paid job, develop your skills or change positions with your current employer? The Emic Foundation will support you in gaining and developing qualifications relevant to the Polish labour market.

Recruitment is now open for the autumn edition of our vocational courses! The courses will take place in October and November in Bydgoszcz. Participation is free of charge. The courses will be held at a reputable training institution, and some of them will conclude with an exam.

Who can take part?

The offer is open to every adult foreign national living in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. Participants must know Polish at least at A2 level. Candidates will be asked to provide a document confirming their level of Polish, such as a course completion certificate. Those who do not have such a document will also take a Polish placement test.

Vocational courses available:

• installation of heat pumps and air-conditioning systems;
• certified installation of photovoltaic systems;
• MAG 135 welding, basic level (training concludes with an exam);
• warehouse work: specialised industrial trucks, mobile elevating work platforms and overhead cranes (training concludes with an exam);
• installation of sanitary systems and equipment - plumbing;
• G1 electrical qualifications - operation and supervision (training concludes with an exam);
• CNC machine operation;
• operation of a backhoe loader.

Additional support

Programme participants will also be able to access support on site and remotely - by e-mail, phone and messaging apps such as WhatsApp:

• consultations on administrative and employment matters and support in accessing public services;
• legal counselling;
• career counselling;
• training as part of the Labour Law Academy.

The vocational courses are organised as part of the project “Competences Without Borders - a labour market activation and social integration programme for foreign nationals”, funded by the Labour Fund under the Ministerial Activation Programme for Foreign Nationals for 2026.
